Adel American Legion Post 464 Collecting Items for Veterans – July 2026 Update
The DM VA Hospital has issued its July Needs List for Veterans for items that can’t be purchased with federal funds.
The Adel American Legion Auxiliary Unit 464 is one of its contributors that collects donations from our community and expends funds from Poppy distributions in response.
Items may be dropped off at 1305 S. 15th Street, Adel, or call Shirley McAdon at (515) 993-4862 for pick up.
If you wish to make a monetary donation, you may make a directed contribution to one of the VA Hospital funds as listed in the flyer or, locally, to the Adel American Legion Auxiliary Unit 464 at the address above.
