Orton Family Circus and Tour of Museum – April 27th

Enjoy a pleasant evening learning about the unique history of Adel on, Tuesday, April 27th, 2010.

The evening starts at the Adel Public Library at 6:30 p.m. for a presentation on the Orton Family Circus, which was located 3 miles East of Adel Iowa in Ortonville.

At one time the community of Ortonville included a cafe, grocery store, gasoline station, elevator, post offce, stockyard and two telephone companies.

After that everyone will travel to the Adel Historical Museum for a pre-season tour.

Door prizes and refreshments will be provided.

No Sign-up necessary. All are welcomed.
