Bridge Us Back Fundraising Goal Surpassed

Adel Bike Trail Bridge.

The restoration of Adel’s Lighted Bridge is moving forward, with Dallas County preparing to enter construction contracts in December 2025.

This $804,289 project is funded through a partnership between the Dallas County Board of Supervisors, Dallas County Conservation Board, and the Bridge Us Back campaign – coordinated by the Raccoon River Valley Trail Association with key support from the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce.

Thanks to community generosity, the campaign surpassed its goal by raising more than $111,000!
