Adel Archery Range Now Open For The 2024 Season

The Adel Archery Range is Now Open to the public.

Volunteer David McAdon has been working hard getting the Adel Parks & Rec Archery Range ready to Open for the season.

He has been busy straightening the fence. Painting the picnic table and repairing the stands for the new targets.

Last season, our targets were destroyed by those using broadheads that are meant for hunting. Practice heads are the only heads allowed to be used at the archery range.

Youth and adult annual permits for the Archery Range as well as daily permits can be purchased at adel.activityreg.com

The Adel Archery Range is located at 1505 Old Portland Road (east of Fullers Petroleum)

Archery is a healthy activity that promotes balance, mental focus, and building upper body strength. The social interactions are important, too; it’s a fun sport that can be recreational or competitive.
