Back by popular demand, the Adel Public Library's Silent Auction!
Bidding begins Monday, August 31st at 10am and will end Friday, September 10th at 5pm.

Ride Your Hogs for the Dog
AHeinz57 Pet Rescue and Transport will be holding the 2nd Annual Ride Your Hogs for the Dog Charity Motorcycle Poker Run August 28th!
Riders will start at the Corner Tap in Adel at noon. Then ride from town to town, heading back to the Corner Tap in Adel by 4:30pm for food and prizes.

Chad Bird - Brick Street Update
Fellow Residents,
Lots of concrete being poured in the last few and next few days.
The sidewalks along the south side of the square (along the store fronts) are scheduled to be poured at 5:30am tomorrow (Saturday).
If you don’t really have anything better to do, it might be fun to come out and watch them work.
The crosswalk area along Hwy 169 and Court Street was poured today along with some curb sections along the North side of Court St.
The brick subcontractor is scheduled to be on site first thing Monday morning – this is when the excitement really begins, the brick go back down.

Networking Event Supports Local Businesses
Brenna Young of Italian Villages will be hosting the 1st Annual Villa Classic Friday, July 30th.
This 2 person best ball golf tournament offers an opportunity to gather and network with business owners from Adel and the surrounding communities.
There will be both a morning and afternoon flights. The morning networking will start at 7:30am with golf kicking off at 8:30am. Those signed up for the first flight will enjoy a lunch buffet at noon.
The afternoon flight will begin at 1pm with a buffet dinner to follow. Awards will be presented after each flight.
