Local Access and Project Information
Project Information Meetings
Public informational meetings will continue throughout the span of the project. All meetings will be held at 6:00pm at City Hall.

An extra meeting is scheduled on the week of August 12 before the Sweetcorn Festival to discuss the status of the project.
Contractor and Subcontractor Progress Meetings will be held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 1:00pm at the Dallas County Offices.
The meetings held on the 1st Tuesday will allocate time for business and building owners to discuss issues related to their property.
Parking
There are 2 Public Parking lots available. Signs will be placed to help designate these spots on Monday, June 21st.
- South West Corner of 10th and Prairie St. Immediately South of the Public Safety Building
- North of City Hall behind Hefner and Bergkamp Law Firm
Dallas County Courthouse Parking is located at the North East Corner of Court and 7th St. Behind Culligan. A stop sign has been installed at the intersection of Court St. and Nile Kinnick Dr. for pedestrian safety crossing the highway.
Temporary “one-hour” parking signs have been ordered and a final map of the affected areas will be released soon.
The one-hour parking limits will allow adequate parking for businesses that depend on walk-in customers while still providing ample time for those customers to conduct business.
