Adel Sweet Corn Festival
Join us Friday night for corn shucking, the official start of this 33 year Adel tradition. Saturday morning take in the largest parade in Dallas County before enjoying your share of over 7 tons of free sweet corn, performances by local entertainers, and one of a kind craft and food vendors. Then dance the night away at the Community Street Dance and Beer Garden.
Atherton House Spring Kiln Opening
This 12 year tradition takes place in the Atherton House Gardens featuring the handcrafted pottery of great Iowa artists and American potters. The 2011 Spring Kiln Opening is scheduled for May 5th-8th!
Little Sister's Outdoor Quilt Show

The Brick Street Classic Car Show
Hosted on Adel's Historic Downtown District and famous brick streets, the Brick Street Car Classic showcases more than 100 restored classic cars, vendors and live music.
All Iowa Wine Festival
Enjoy the beauty of an Adel summer night while sampling wine from local wineries and listen to great live music at central Iowa’s premiere wine event. This year's event takes place June 17th & 18th!
Dallas County Fair

Holiday Open House
An Adel tradition for 16 years, the winter night is warmed by this show of Burls and Ives heritage charm. Visit Adel's businesses, sample and collect recipes, and see Santa. Enjoy the beautiful window displays and Lighted Parade. The 2010 Holiday Open House is Friday, December 3rd.
