Adel Library - Family Reading Program Jan. 20th.

The Adel Public Library will hold a Kick-off for 2012's family reading program on Friday, Jan. 20 at 6 p.m.
The program will be held in the library community room with Trooper the Dog as the guest of honor.
"Carry-Out a Good Book" is the program's theme and families may register that night.
Families will have a month to read as many pages as possible to earn great prizes.

Bag Basics with wool felt embellished flower
Instructor, Jacque Johnson
Friday, January 20 – 1 to 4 p.m.
Learn the basics of making great purses and bags including stabilizing, closures and handles.
This class also teaches a large flower embellishment made form multiple circle cuts of wool felt. Very fun to create and can be used on pillows and footstools as well as purses and bags.
Fee $30 and includes pre-cut wool felt circles
