Story times are a valuable way of exposing children to early literacy skills.
Storytimes are also a great way for kids to socialize, play and just have fun with their peers while listening, singing and doing crafts.
They even provide a fun time for parents and caregivers to socialize with one another.
Preschoolers ages 3-5 may come either Monday or Thursday at 10:30am. Toddlers ages 3 and under are invited on Tuesdays at 10:30 am.
Both groups are invited to participate in Preschool Music Time on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. beginning June 16. Parents or caregivers may read aloud to children to earn coins and get prizes.
So mark your calendars for a fun, educational time at the Adel Library!
Babysitting Basics Class at Adel Library

Dallas County will be conducting a Babysitting Basics Class for boys and girls in 5th grade and older.
The class will be held at the Adel Public Library on Tuesday, June 14 and Tuesday, June 21 from 9 a.m.-noon.
Cost is $15.
Pre-registration is required and space is limited.

River Valley Golf Presents Junior Clinics

Join River Valley hosts a junior clinic twice during the summer.
The clinics are designed for kids between the ages of 8 - 14 years old, and are focused around the fundamentals of the game.
Each lesson begins at 9am at our practice facility where basic mechanics can be worked on.
The kids will then spend time out on the course putting to use the new lessons they learn before the clinic closes at 11:30am.
