Special Olympics Quad-athon - June 18th

Don’t miss the Quad-athon this Saturday, June 18 at the Dallas County Fairgrounds.
Teams will compete for the rights to a traveling trophy while raising money for Special Olympics Iowa athletes.
Teams of 10 (with two alternates) are encouraged to register before the event or the day of the competition.
4th Annual All Iowa Wine Festival

Organized by the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce
The 4th Annual All Iowa Wine Festival is scheduled for June 18th from 4pm-9pm.
Hosted at the Adel Community Stage at 10th & Main.
Ten Iowa Wineries will be in attendance handing out samples and selling bottles of wine.
Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, local wine samples, food vendors, musical entertainment, and drawings throughout the night for door prizes.
Listen to the Blues-rock-country band Brother Trucker as they play from 5pm to 9pm.
The Little Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show - June 17 & 18

The Little Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show (named after the famed Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show in Sisters, Oregon) is June 17 & 18.
In addition to a large assortment of beautiful quilts hanging all around the quilt shop yard, there will also be a silent auction of hand made quilted items.
Proceeds will be donated to the Adel Library as a thank you for all of the quilt gatherings held there.
Guests who come to view the quilts may also vote on their favorites.
Winning quilts will be photographed for the annual Calendar of Quilts and Recipes, to be published in September .
Show hours are 10 am to 4 pm each day.
2nd Annual John D. Gomke Charity Golf Tournament

The John D. Gomke Charity has announced the date of the 2nd Annual Charity Classic Golf Tournament!
The event is set for June 18, 2011 at River Valley Golf Course in Adel, Iowa.
