4-H Events and Activities at the Dallas County Fair

The Dallas County Fair begins on Wednesday, July 11th and runs through Sunday, July 15th. For the second year there will be free admission to the fair!

4-H events and activities at the Dallas County Fair include something for everyone.

There will be livestock shows to watch with everything from horses to rabbits.

The Community Building will display the non-livestock exhibits which range from the cookies and breads that are most associated with the fair, to art work and personal development exhibits.

The second annual 4-H Clover Kids Day will be held July 12 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Take time to look at and bid on the items at the Dallas County 4-H Foundation Silent Auction booth in the Community Building.

Iowa Learning Farms will have the Conservation Station at the fair on July 13th from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer gardening questions and have youth activities.
