Adel Partners Community Stage Gets a Roof

This was a big week for the Adel Partners Community Stage, located at the corner of 10th and Main. Construction of the roof started midweek by Steve Telford of Turnkey Construction. Steve and his crew have made tremendous progress in just a couple of days.

Although the roof is going up, the handrail, soffit, benches and bricks around the apron are yet to be scheduled. Those will be completed as funds are raised.

Personalized engraved bricks, to be used in construction, can be purchased for $75 each. To help complete this great community project with a donation or to purchase bricks, contact the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce office at 993-5472 or adel@netins.net.

When completed, the stage will be a cornerstone of the Adel Sweet Corn Festival, Iowa Book Festival and Raccoon Valley Wine Festival. The stage will also be available for other community groups and events.
