Percussion in the Park

Brought to you by the Adel Parks and Recreation “Percussion in the Parks” will be a public drum circle for all ages facilitated by Phil DeLoriea of Brick Street Rhythm Endeavor, and will take place at 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday September 20, 2008 at the Shelter House on the hill in Kinnick Feller Riverside Park.

Cost of admission will be $3.00 dollars. Drums, other percussion instruments and instruction will be provided, or bring your own instrument. Drum circles are the original form of interactive entertainment. Not only are drum circles fun, but provide a way to connect with other people and to see that creative side of ourselves and other people that is so often hidden in our everyday lives. Drum circles give many people that thrill of creativity usually experienced by “real musicians”.
