P.E.O. News - February 2010
P.E.O. Chapter DR held their regular monthly meeting Tuesday evening February 2, at the Adel Public Library.
Eighteen members responded to roll call and enjoyed desserts prepared by Betty Mathers.
Terri Whyle presented a program on Cyberspace Travels. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, March 2, at 7 P.M. at the library.

3 Scholastic Book Fairs at ADM Conferences
3 Scholastic Book Fairs will be at the Adel DeSoto Minburn parent teacher conferences on February 16th and 18th during the hours of 1:30-8:30 p.m.
Minburn Elementary, DeSoto Intermediate and ADM 6-7 Middle School will each be hosting a book fair.

Adel Partners Announce New Directors
After and extensive search and interview process, Adel Partners Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Linda Beottcher and Van Van Buren have been hired as joint Directors.
Van is a former business executive, retired from IBM after 30 years. He also has worked at the Director/VP level for other companies since then. He and his wife Dawn, moved here from Texas to "retire" because of the quality of life and people in Adel.
Linda has spent 40 plus years in the world of education as a teacher and a school administrator. She and her husband Dean, a banker in Adel, have lived and worked in the state of Iowa all of their lives. They have two grown children, Tara, a physician at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and a son, Damon, the CFO of a professional soccer team in Dallas. Texas.
Linda and Van are excited about building relationships within our community and working with the many business, civic, and volunteer leaders to achieve...
